Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that lead to progressive optic nerve damage, often caused by increased intraocular pressure that disrupts the flow of visual information to the brain. Because the most common forms develop without early pain or obvious symptoms, regular diagnostic screenings like tonometry and visual field tests are essential for preventing permanent vision loss. While the disease is not reversible, it can be effectively managed through personalized treatment plans involving medicated eye drops, laser therapy, or advanced surgical interventions to lower eye pressure.
